Exciting news...!!!

I'm pregnant...lol...just kidding...that would not be exciting news at this point in our lives!! The really exciting news is that Jacob has begun sleeping through the night (knock on wood). Last night he slept from 9pm-5:30am and then back to sleep until 7am and the night before it was about 1 hour less! This is very exciting news in our house!! The first night I woke up at 3:30am and was so confused and worried because he hadn't been up yet and I couldn't get back to sleep forever. Last night I managed to sleep until 5am when my chest was almost ready to explode...it's a bit of a shock to my body as I'm used to feeding him 2-4 times per night, but i'm definately not complaining!!

Today is Jacob's 3 month birthday, we went to the doctor for his check up and he is 17lbs 12oz according to their scale, he seems to be leveling out a little. He is off the charts in all measurements!! He's now 27" long and the circumfrence of his head is 45cm. He's off the charts but he is equal in all measurements so that is a good thing. We go back in one month to make sure that he continues to grow evenly...ie: his head is not growing out of control compared to the rest of his body!!

Baby's, baby's, baby's !!

Wow there are a lot of baby's arounds these day which is cool 'cause Jacob is going to have lot's of friends to play with.

We had a baby shower for Gen and Harrison Sona Kozma...not Sanu and not Cozma...my spelling has become really bad lately! sorry Gen. Mel and I put the shower on and it went really well. I've posted some really cute pictures of all of the baby's that were in attendance...Jacob, Linkyn Harrison and Tara's new baby girl Isabella...Isabella was born February 11th and she was 10 1/2lbs!! yikes...way to go Tara!!

Not much is new with Jacob, he had a really good night sleeping last night, hopefully I don's jinx it by writing this!! He slept from 10pm-2:30, then 2:30ish-5:30 and then 5:45-8:20am..not bad!! I actually felt pretty rested this morning which was nice!!

We just had a visit from Auntie Laurie, Uncle Rick and Mike, it was there first time meeting Jacob. They are heading up to Mnt Washington for the week, maybe Dave will come down with a mysterious illness and we could go recover with them on the Mountain for the week!! Wishful thinking.

Exciting news...we bought our new washer and dryer on Friday night and we will be picking them up next Saturday!! I sold the dbl bed, coffee table, some canisters and Jordan and Jess just bought our old washer and dryer!! Wow, what a fundraiser I've turned into!!

Anyways, we're heading to Great Grama's for dinner so I better get ready!!

Talk to you all soon.

17lbs 14oz...

Wow, we just weighed Jacob today and he is now 17lbs 14oz...he's not even 3 months old yet and he's already almost doubled his birth weight, which he's not supposed to do until he's 6 months old. Apparently my milk has some crazy growth hormones in it! Looks like he'll be competing with his uncle sam for biggest kid in the family if he keeps this up! Nana T was telling us that Sam was 18lbs when he was 3 months, now he's 14 and 6'4" yikes.

He's changing every day...he seems to have found his voice lately and it includes a very high pitched scream!! how fun!! I guess it's pay back for all those little ones that I taught to scream.

I've attached some pictures of Jacob in his bath attire...his first bathrobe (thanks Jilly) and his first bath slippers (thanks auntie Suzi). Jacob now likes to shower with his Dad...he's definately a water boy! It's going to be lots of fun this summer on Savory and at the Lake!!

Our fun day with Mel and the kids

Hey everyone. I can't believe it's Friday already, where does the time go? We had a fun day today with Mel, Coral, Nikao and Linkyn...we went to the park and walked downtown to do some errands. We then came back to the house and the kids all played in Jacobs newly "futonless" playroom, yes that's right, i sold the futon and am 1 step closer to my new washer and dryer!!! I've posted some pics of the kids from today, I didn't get one of Nikao for some reason. Look at how big Jacob is compared to Linkyn...she's almost 8 months old and only a little longer then he is, he's not much lighter than she is either. She's much more mobile though and she cannot sit still!! Jacob will be like that before I know it!!
Nothing really new to report...Jacob has been having some serious sleep issues this week!! He wakes up as soon as you put him down. When we've finally been able to get him to sleep at night he's only been sleeping for 2 hours at a time. I am completely exhausted and so is he. Hopefully this is just a phase, so much for getting him to bed by 7pm!
Gotta go.

Jacob and Brooklyn

Just wanted to put up a couple of pictures of Jacob and Brooklyn. We had Robert, Jenna and Brooklyn over for Super Bowl and I got a couple cute shots! He is so big compared to her...I don't think that he was ever that small, especially his head - he has one big noggin!!

Little Canucks fan.

Hey everyone...just thought i'd add a message because I haven't done one in a couple days. I don't really have much to say...Jacob really loves the Canucks...it's so funny...when the game is on he'll settle down and listen to the comentator. Dave figures that he recognizes the voice from when he was in the womb 'cause I was forced to watch a lot of games. Anyhoo...i'm just sitting here waiting for the little monkey to wake up from his nap so I can go to Costco. We went for dinner at Robert and Jenna's last night, their baby is so tiny...Jacob was never that small. Jenna and I switched, she could barely pick Jacob up and I didn't know how to hold Brooklyn 'cause she was so small. lol...Jacob had another crying fit like on my birthday last night. I had to go pick up Danny and Jen from the ferry and the boat was 45 mins late, Jacob screamed in the waiting area forever, I'm sure everyone their really appreciated it!! I'm thinking that it may be his teeth and not his tummy...I gave him some teething homeopathy and within 1/2 hour he calmed down and was fine for the rest of the night. Crazy stuff, he's growing so fast!!
Talk to you all later

Congratulations Robert and Jenna

Congratulations to Robert and Jenna on the birth of their new baby girl Brooklynn Avery D'Onofrio. Brooklynn was born January 30th at 3:43, she weighed in at 7lbs 12oz and was 20"long. Brooklynn and Jenna are both doing awesome and should be going home today. We went to visit them last night at the hospital so i've attached some pics! We are so excited to get Jacob and Brooklynn together to take some pictures, Jacob is a house compared to her!!

While we were at the hospital, Jacob stayed with Grama and Grampa Warwick and had another interesting night. We were only gone for 1 hour, he screamed the entire time and could not be consoled by anyone. He continued to scream when we got back until Dave finally got him to sleep almost 3 hours later. It was very unlike Jacob, he was screaming like he was in pain and we figure that it must have been his tummy, I had a burrito for lunch that must not have agreed with him. I was waiting for his head to start spinning around, it was horrible. So much for Jacob taking it easy on me for my birthday!! My mom said that that was how I used to scream every night for 18 months, I would have lost my mind!! Poor Grama is going to get a complex if Jacob keeps it up. We'll have to try another Grama one of these days, any takers?
